Faith in Harmony Project
Living in Harmony (LIH) funded by the Commonwealth Department of Immigration and Citizenship Affairs.
This activity, Faith in Harmony aims to address issues of community harmony, negative issues, racism and discrimination in Darwin and nearby satellite communities.
The activity seeks to do this through an educational campaign in schools, the promotion of open dialogue and the fostering of a sense of community. Activities include interfaith workshops with Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist Societies, debates, the creation of a website and a Harmony Day celebration.
