The MCNT’s NT-wide Finding Common Ground poster competition for young people is also designed to secure creative artworks for publication in the 2008 Harmony Calendar produced by the MCNT and sponsored by the Northern Territory Office of Multicultural Affairs.  The MCNT will promote the poster competition throughout the Territory and conduct a series of poster workshops in local schools and libraries.

The NT’s young people aged 12 to 15 years are encouraged and invited to submit artworks that are consistent with the theme of “finding common ground” and the objective of fostering cross-cultural friendships and breaking down barriers.  The competition closes in late October, and there will be sponsored prizes and an award ceremony for the winning entries”.
