Homework Club

Homework Club

This project provides weekly group tutoring sessions in a safe and friendly environment for middle and high school aged students from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
Students receive individual support and assistance with their school work from volunteer tutors, as well as the dedicated Homework Club Project Officer. A healthy snack is provided.

Children participating in the Homework Club are able to receive general help with homework, develop their English language skills, adjust to the local school system, and socialise with children from different cultures and age groups.

Homework Club currently runs two weekly sessions during school term:
  • Monday: 3.00pm - 5.00pm, Palmerston Library Community Room
  • Wednesday: 3.00pm - 5.00pm, Casuarina Library
Please contact admin@mcnt.org.au if you would like more information or to find out more about signing your children up or becoming a volunteer tutor.
